When a Lower East Side resident challenged a man he saw with his girlfriend, police say he was punched, cut, and robbed of his luxury watch.

Around 7:10 p.m. on June 6, the 33-year-old victim was just arriving home when he discovered the stranger and his female companion at his apartment on Delancey Street and Baruch Drive, according to police.

The intruder allegedly slashed the victim’s throat and repeatedly punched the victim in the face after the two men got into a struggle.

Before fleeing, the guy allegedly stole both his keys and a $7,000 Cartier watch.

The victim was brought to Bellevue Hospital, where his condition was listed as stable.

The culprit, who is still at large, was the subject of a police surveillance image release.
